Instructions
Step 1
Choose a fabric for your trousers. Wool or blended pants are suitable. Cut out two front and back halves of the trousers and two pockets, as well as the waistband and the hem. Use the lining to make four pieces of burlap pockets. Stitch the darts on the back halves and press them towards the middle seam line. Sew side seams. At the same time, leave the entrances to the pockets open.
Step 2
Overcast the inside edge of each pocket with a straight edge. Baste the piping to one burlap and sew along the inside edge. Fold both sackcloths with allowances for the entrance to the pocket on the wrong side of the trousers. Pin the burlap with a facing to the back half, and the burlap without it to the front. Sew the burlap along the side seam line below and above the entrance to the pocket, tightly to the seam. Press the sacking forward, sew and baste under the front half of the pants.
Step 3
Sew the crotch cuts and cuts from the zipper incision mark to the crotch seam. Sew in the zipper. Sew the waistband to the top of your pants. At the same time, sew the fastener allowance to the hem. Press the seam allowance at the waist. Fold it in half along the inside, right side in. Unscrew the allowances at the bottom of the waistband up. Turn out the belt, sew short cuts at the ends of it and turn it out.
Step 4
Set aside from the middle line 8, 5 cm in both directions and make marks for the drawstring. Tuck the inner half of the belt between the marks and baste over the seam where the belt is sewn. From the front of the trousers, on the drawstring section, sew a stitch through the seam of the belt.
Step 5
Slide in elastic tape, stitching the ends at the marks. Stitch the inner waistband. At one end of the belt, overcast a loop, at the other, sew a button. Press hem seam allowance to wrong side and sew by hand. Sew on the belt loops.
