Not so much time is left before the wonderful holiday called New Year. And this means that it is time to take care of how and with what you will decorate the house and the Christmas tree. If you want to create something original, then I bring to your attention New Year's glass balls, decorated from the inside. Even a child can make such a decoration.
It is necessary
- - a set of glass transparent balls;
- - acrylic paint of different colors;
- - tea spoon;
- - empty egg cartons.
Instructions
Step 1
Taking an empty egg box, place glass Christmas balls upside down in it, after removing the metal "caps" from them. Then look at how they are positioned - the balls should not interfere with each other.
Step 2
Now take the first bead of glass and pour acrylic paint into it using a teaspoon that's only one-quarter full of it. Add a different color of paint to the ball in the same way. In order to get an original New Year's craft, it is better to combine at least three different colors with each other.
Step 3
Having poured paint of different colors into a glass ball, begin to gently turn it in one direction, then in the other. This will color the inner surface of the Christmas toy. Please note that this procedure should be started immediately after filling the ball with paint. Otherwise, it will thicken, making it more difficult for it to spread over the walls of the jewelry. By the way, if this amount of paint is not enough, then you can add it as much as required.
Step 4
Having completely colored the inside of the glass bead, drain the excess paint, if necessary, into a container prepared in advance. Do the same with the rest of the tree decorations.
Step 5
Put the decorated balls in the egg box in the same way as they stood in it before, that is, upside down. Thanks to this, decorations for the Christmas tree will become even more beautiful and interesting - due to gravity, the paint will spread better inside the product and create unique patterns. In this state, painted glass beads should remain for at least 4 hours or until they dry completely.
Step 6
After the acrylic paint has completely dried, you can put a metal "cap" on the Christmas tree toy, which was removed before starting work. Decorated inside Christmas balls are ready to be hung on the tree!
