Step 1
First, we need to cut out the fragments that we want to stick on the box. Better to take two napkins with the same pattern. They cost little, and it is not difficult to find them on sale. Glue the fragments to the box with PVA glue. Select the parts of the images on which the parts of the drawing you want to make three-dimensional will be pasted. According to their size, many, many linings from a regular napkin will have to be cut, they will serve as the basis.
Step 2
Cut out copies of the parts that will be voluminous. They need to be glued to the analogue in the image. This is done with PVA glue. Be sure to wait for the bottom layer to dry, then the beauty of the relief will be natural, and the characteristic texture of the dried glue will resemble a real wood carved surface. It is better not to tint the napkin used to simulate the volume, and choose a regular one, without patterns and unnecessary decorations.
Step 3
When all areas are glued, you need to apply colored fragments. The result is a natural look, as if a carved wooden box was painted with paint. if you just want a three-dimensional wooden product - there are two ways out: buy a napkin with a ready-made image "under a tree" or paint the existing base. Acrylic paints are easily applied to it, but you can use pastel, or - its dry variation. The latter will have to be treated with decoupage varnish, The colors are selected in brown, beige, golden tones.
