Users face the need to launch two windows of Warcraft 3 for a variety of reasons. Playing in two windows, the user can test modifications, carry out complex tactical maneuvers and get an advantage on "special" maps like DotA. However, some of these techniques are not entirely fair, and therefore Blizzard was worried that it was not so easy to launch two copies of the game.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the latest existing update for Warcraft.
Step 2
Download the kLoader 2.0 program.
Step 3
Unpack the archive and transfer its contents to the Warcraft 3 root directory.
Step 4
Open config.cfg file with notepad. Enter a single line there: first, the path to the war3.exe file - you can copy it by right-clicking on war3 and opening the Properties menu, then the signature - window. The latter will allow you to run the game in windowed mode.
Step 5
Run W3MultipleLoader.exe. Each launch of the program will open a new game window, up to 12. Please note that only one license key is used, and therefore you will not be able to play on the official servers.
Step 6
Install "Virtual Machine". This application will allow you to emulate another OS inside your PC, which, in turn, will allow you to run two copies of Warcraft. Run the program. It doesn't matter what kind of system you emulate.
Step 7
To play on the official bettle.net servers, you need two license keys with the game. The first copy of the game is already installed on your PC; install the second copy from the virtual machine.
Step 8
Run one version of Warcraft on each OS. Conflicts between them should not arise even when connecting to the same server.
Step 9
Create two profiles in Windows, while protecting both with a password. Launch Warcraft, minimize it and press Win + L, this will switch the session. Select the newly created profile, go to it and also launch the game. This method is extremely slow, but does not require the installation of additional programs and fine-tuning.
