Step 1
To begin with, check how many computers you plan to connect via a network cable, as this determines how they are connected to the local network.
Step 2
If you want to connect only two personal computers via a network cable, then this is very simple. Buy a cable of the required length, preferably with a margin, also purchase clips. Lay the patch cord (the so-called cable connecting two PCs) so as to avoid mechanical damage. Clamp the cable with clips. Plug the cable into your PC's network card. If it is missing, then purchase and connect to the motherboard.
Step 3
Go to "Control Panel" - "Network Connections". You will see a local network connection. Go to the "TCP / IP" properties and specify the IP address 192.168.0.1 from the first computer, and 192.168.0.2 from the second. The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
Step 4
You can connect multiple computers via a network cable and play at the same time. Get a hub. Place it approximately the same distance from all computers for the best possible connection. Connect the "hub" to a power source. Connect all computers with a network cable to the device.
Step 5
Enter the IP addresses on each computer.
Go to the game. One computer will be the server. He creates a game. Other PCs in the "Servers" section find the IP address of the server computer and click "connect". Good game.
