Ballet is a special form of classical dance. Ballet dancers look slender, and sometimes it seems that in the event of a strong wind, they can simply be carried away somewhere far. In fact, all this harmony hides years of work, training and considerable strength of arms, legs, back. Dancers' legs, as a rule, are even stronger than those of athletes, because they work for endurance, not records. Ballerinas do not start dancing on pointe at once. Years of hard training pass first. Dancers get used to constant calluses and pain in their legs. With constant work on pointe, deformation of the foot and toes is inevitable. These are the professional diseases of ballet dancers.
