Belly dance has been known since ancient times; today it is an extremely popular form of dance - exotic and feminine. It develops a woman's plasticity, allows her to feel her feminine strength, become more graceful and strengthen different muscle groups, which has a beneficial effect on health and prolongs youth. Every woman of any age and physique can learn to dance belly dancing - you can master the basic technique on your own.

Instructions

Step 1

The easiest way is to enroll in special oriental dance courses, which are available in every city, but if for some reason you do not want to start learning dance with a teacher, you can use the training lessons on DVD, as well as text instructions on the Internet. When working on the movements, do not forget about their presentation - emotions, eyes, facial expressions and the mood that you endow the dance with are important here.

Step 2

Begin learning belly dancing with simple, fluid hip movements - move your hips to the right and left while trying to keep your upper body still. Then complicate the task - without stopping moving your hips, change the position of the body: for example, bend back or forward. Be sure to dance to the music to learn how to listen to it and get into the rhythm, emphasizing its accents with body movements.

Step 3

In addition to the smooth movements of the hips, there are also sharp movements - up and down strokes, as well as shaking the hips, which are slow and fast. Start by mastering slow shaking, alternately lifting your hips to the music.

Step 4

Then, when you feel able to do a faster shake, speed up the pace, but make sure that the fast shake is as accented and crisp as the slow shake. These shakes are usually done with the full feet of both feet, but you can also push one foot forward, making the movement more difficult and graceful.

Step 5

By bringing your leg forward and shaking your hips, you create a beautiful swinging effect, and you can also perform a variety of arcs, eights, slides, circles and other movements.

Step 6

When moving in the dance, use a side step that allows you to gracefully swing your hips, and then try to combine the side step with the wave - for this, transfer your body weight to the front leg, and at the same time do the wave with your chest and stomach.

Step 7

Separately practice doing the figure eight with your hips - in fact, in this exercise, you draw a horizontal figure eight around you with your hips in the air. Bring your left thigh slightly to the left and draw the left turn of the figure eight with it, without lifting your heels off the floor. Then take your hip as far back as possible and draw a second loop of the figure eight with your right hip. Loop the exercise. Then try to run your hips in an even circle around your own body, without bending your back and keeping your body stretched.

Step 8

To swing your hips, swing your right leg forward, stand on your toes and alternately move your right and left hips, rolling from foot to foot.

Step 9

Once you have mastered the basics of dancing, you can move on to more complex movements such as the canopy and belly rolls.

Step 10

During the dance, keep your legs slightly bent at the knees, and throw your arms up and gracefully move them, accompanying and emphasizing body movements.
