The passionate love of Gundareva and Koreshkov was born while working on the play "Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District". All the acquaintances believed that in her last marriage with Mikhail Filippov, the actress found true love and happiness. They had known each other since the time when Natalya Gundareva lived with Kheifets. Filippov at that time was married to the General Secretary's daughter Irina Andropova.
The future spouses often met during rehearsals, performances and maintained friendly relations. Mikhail was secretly in love with Natalia, but she did not believe that his feelings were sincere. The man had to prove his love for a long time, and once a "spark" slipped between them.
