The story of Alexei's acquaintance with a woman so far removed from the acting profession is full of incredible coincidences. It happened shortly after the then unknown actor moved to Moscow. The fact is that Lyudmila and Alexei had a common acquaintance (actor Vladimir Novikov), who once invited them both to a party on the occasion of Theater Day.
Lyudmila Andreevna was doing laundry that day and did not want to go anywhere, but in the end she succumbed to the long persuasion of friends. It so happened that shortly before the celebration, Lyudmila watched the film "Quiet Consequence" with Buldakov in the title role (investigator Ryabinin), she was fascinated by the actor. Thoughts about a gorgeous man from the screen did not leave her. Of course, she did not expect to see him when she came to a party with friends. But Novikov said by phone that Alexey Buldakov would be at the party, so Lyudmila could not refuse the opportunity to meet in person with the actor who conquered her.
Alexey and Lyudmila immediately liked each other. They soon began a romantic relationship.
And already on December 3, 1993, after nine months of marriage, the lovers officially got married and were together until Buldakov's death.
