Knitting became widespread and fashionable. Craftswomen knit not only clothes and interior items, but also a variety of toys. If you are tired of knitting simple things, you can try to make a toy with your own hands, such as a dachshund.
Instructions
Step 1
Download from the Internet or find in specialized literature a description and pattern for knitting a dachshund. Buy threads in the store, best of all, semi-wool, 300 gr. Choose the color and thickness of the thread depending on how you want to see the final result of your work. Buy crochet hook # 2, 5.
Step 2
Tie the dachshund's torso. Cast on a chain of air loops (6 pcs.) And close them in a circle. From these loops, knit 6 single crochet stitches, mark the beginning of knitting and, according to the following pattern, knit in a spiral: 1 row - knit 2 from each of 6 stitches; 2nd row - knit 2 columns, knit 2 from 1 column; 3 row - knit 3 columns, knit 2 from 1 column; all other rows - knit 4 columns, knit 2 from 1 column. Continue knitting according to this pattern until the diameter of the circle becomes 8-9 cm. Knit another 28 cm without increments, stuff tightly with cotton wool or synthetic winterizer and reduce the size according to the following pattern: knit 2 stitches, knit the next 2 stitches together.
Step 3
Tie the muzzle: cast on 6 air loops and knit in the same pattern as you knitted the torso (circumference - 5 cm). Knit 4 cm without additions, then add loops according to the scheme (circumference - 8 cm), then knit another 5 cm and stuff the face with cotton wool or synthetic winterizer. Finish the muzzle in the same way as you finished the torso.
Step 4
Tie your ear. Cast on 8 stitches and knit 8 double crochets. Add loops around the edges through a row (you should get 12 columns), then in the same way subtract the loops to 4 columns.
Step 5
Tie the tail. Cast on 8 loops, close them in a circle and knit with the same columns. Decrease the loops depending on the desired tail length. Sew all the resulting details, sew on the eyes (small black buttons), tie the eyelashes and claws. Make a collar from a strip of leather or a chain. You can also tie a collar.
