Instructions
Step 1
Launch Counter Strike Source with a double click on your desktop shortcut to customize the audio in CSS. In the menu that appears after loading, select "Settings", then activate the right-click on the "Audio" tab.
Step 2
Set the audio volume sliders to a position that is acceptable for comfortable listening. To customize the CSS sound, right-click and drag it on the In-Game Volume setting bar to the right. If you want to decrease the sound level, then to the left. Do the same for the In-game volume slider.
Step 3
Speaker Setting function. Activate the window on the right side of the tab and select the speakers connected to the sound card from the drop-down list. By default, "headphones" are installed there. Select the connected accessory and right-click on it.
Step 4
In the left half of the tab, select the Sound Quality option. In the drop-down list, select the required level - "High", "Medium" or "Low". Activate the desired one with the right mouse button right in the list.
Step 5
Activate the Speaker Test button. Wait for the location to finish loading. On the opened map, listen to the voice messages confirming the correctness of the selected settings. When finished, press the Esc key.
Step 6
In the general menu, go to the "Voice" tab. Setting up audio without voice in CSS will prevent you from communicating with other players. Check the box next to “Enable voice in game”. Then set the audio volume sliders in Voice transmission volume. Set the required parameter in the “Voice reception volume” in the same way. Activate the Test Microphone button. Follow the prompts from the Setup Assistant. At the end of the procedure, click "Apply", then OK.
