The art of origami - folding paper figures - originated in ancient China and was used for religious rituals. Figures were made without glue or scissors using a square sheet of paper. Today it is just a hobby for children and adults.

Step 1
The art of origami requires a lot of desire, perseverance, great patience and attention. If you have it all, then get started. Take a piece of white paper. It needs to be square. To make it like this, fold the sheet diagonally to form a triangle. Cut off the excess edges. Unfold the piece of paper: you have got an even square.
Step 2
Fold the square diagonally, you can along the already laid line. Fold the resulting triangle in half. The latter is needed in order to determine its middle. In geometric terms, you have mapped out the height of the triangle going out from the vertex and dividing the opposite side in half.
Step 3
Expand the triangle again and place it so that the corner is facing you. Bring the right corner down to the line you marked earlier and described as height. Fold the left corner in the same way.
Step 4
Turn the workpiece over. Divide the top corner into three pieces. With a slight overlap, fold the right side and then the left to the center line called the height.
Step 5
The resulting triangles must be halved. Divide the top triangle first, and then take out the bottom one and also divide it in half.
Step 6
The angel should have wings, so the next step is to create them. They need to be deployed from the back to the right and left. Do this carefully, otherwise your angel may break.
Step 7
To make paper wings more similar to real ones, raise the corners up on the right and left sides. After that, make bends to the right and left. They should be parallel to the center line.
Step 8
Along the bends made, turn the corners inward on both sides. Lower the resulting wings down on both sides.
Step 9
Turn the blank over to the other side and make a hood for the angel. To do this, bend both sides all the way. Shape the wings randomly by making a few bends.
Step 10
Divide the top corner in half, take out the bottom and also divide it in half. Shape the resulting hood. In this case, twist the corner inward.
Step 11
Shape the angel's clothes. To do this, fold the corners into the inside of the angel.
