Step 1
First, try to remember who you watched this movie with and under what circumstances. It is very possible that one of your companions remembers what you were watching then. But you should not rely on this, because what interested you might well not offend someone else.
Step 2
Think about what exactly made you feel good about the movie. Maybe it was a handsome actor, a wonderful song, or an interesting phrase that you later said or heard more than once. If you remember the actor, watch his filmography. Even if he played a cameo role, it was noticeable if you remember it.
Step 3
Look for the memorable phrase on the Internet or try to ask friends. It should have been memorized not only by you. And it very rarely happens that words remain, but no one knows where they came from.

If you only remember the melody of a song, try to find it on disks from the "Movie Melodies" series or another similar one. Once you find it, you will also find the title of the movie.
Step 5
Having memorized just one episode or even a frame, think about what this episode could be connected with. Having determined what time it is told about, you will somewhat narrow the circle of searches. Remember what costumes the heroes wore, what they talked about and what they did.

Think if it was a film based on some kind of literary work. If you still have that impression, try to remember the title of the book. The titles of the book and the film may not be the same, but knowing what kind of work the film was based on, it will be much easier to find it.
