The main thing that is necessary for memorizing dreams is the desire to remember them. During the day, you need to regularly think about dreams, you can talk with friends or read literature on this topic. It will be helpful to remember some of the dreams you have had.

It is especially important in the evening, before falling asleep, to evoke the desire to remember the dream that very night.

The brain works in cycles, this also affects dreams. Deep sleep alternates with more alert sleep. Therefore, there are several dreams in one night. Waking up in the middle of the night, we can remember the dream we just saw, but it will very quickly be erased from our memory. In order not to forget it until the morning, you need to record it, of course, not completely, at least a few keywords.

It is very important to remember the dream immediately after waking up, because it will be much more difficult to do later. Although there are times when remembering occurs at lunchtime or even in the evening.

If you don't remember the dream in the morning, you can use a simple technique to help the memory surface. To do this, focus on tactile sensations and see which of them is the most attention. Let's say the way the head touches the pillow. Feel the texture of the fabric, softness, etc. After 3-4 seconds, switch your attention to sensation in another part of the body. For example, feel the blanket with your hand, observe how it feels. Thus, go over several points in the body where your attention is. During this exercise, thoughts stop, and a dream episode can flicker into memory. When this happens, it is important to cling to it, direct maximum attention to it. If you succeed, then thanks to a small episode it will be possible to remember the whole dream.

If the recollection did not happen, do not be discouraged and try again the next morning. In a few days you will remember, if not all the dreams you had at night, then at least one of them.
