A face cast may well come in handy for making a Venetian-style carnival mask. When working on such a cast, you must adhere to some rules, and you should also use someone's help, without which it will not be easy for you to do.

It is necessary

  • - oily face cream
  • - plaster bandages
  • - hygienic lipstick
  • - cotton pads

Instructions

Step 1

Comb your hair back and secure it with a hair tie, headband, or regular headband. Even a single hair adhered to the plaster can deliver a lot of unpleasant impressions.

Step 2

Lubricate your face with a thick layer of cream, paying particular attention to the eyebrows. Close your eyes with cotton pads, which also need to be smeared with cream on the side with which they will come into contact with the plaster.

Step 3

Soak the plaster bandages according to the instructions supplied with them. Cut the bandages into short strips. Place the bandages over your face, applying each strip so that the edge overlaps with the edge of the adjacent strip. Remember to smooth out the cast thoroughly.

Step 4

To make the mask not too heavy, it will be quite enough if you cover your face with bandages in three layers. In any case, the number of layers should not exceed five.

Step 5

For air access, you can stick cocktail straws in your nose and cover them with bandages. You can then cut off the excess plaster.

Step 6

Leave the hyp on the face until completely dry. Get ready for your face to itch from time to time. Whatever the temptation to scratch it, resist it with all your might. And in any case, do not use a mask if you feel like a cold.

Step 7

Depending on the thickness of the gypsum, it can dry from 10 to 30 minutes, after which the mask can be removed and left to dry completely in a warm, dry place for several days.
