The International Nettle Festival is held in the village of Krapivna, Tula Region. In the past, Krapivna was a district town, and now this village is a reserve of Russian antiquity: ancient temples, shopping arcades, and mansions have been preserved here. The Nettle Festival has been held annually in mid-June since 2002. The event is aimed at reviving old crafts and crafts, as well as drawing attention to the problem of reviving small towns.
