Step 1
Before starting an attack, check the strength and development of your opponent. To do this, right-click on the enemy monster or hero. You will see a window with information. Carefully familiarize yourself with the type of his army, and also find out the number of magic points in advance. Place your troops in positions so that the arrows are located on the flanks and next to them are the slowest troops.
Step 2
Attack your opponent by hovering your mouse cursor over it and double-clicking. If the right of the first move at the beginning of the battle remains with you, immediately cast a retarding spell on the enemy troops. If your hero has an expert level of earth magic, use the "Slowness" spell. In this case, it will overlap the entire enemy army and give you a significant advantage in battle.
Step 3
If your hero does not have an expert level of slowness, it is better to use the spell of blindness. Apply it to the most powerful group of enemy troops.
Step 4
With your main forces, wait out the first turn and allow the enemy monsters to come closer to the distance of one transition. However, your shooters must shoot from the spot. Direct their blow to the enemy's second strongest army. In no case do not hit the army that is under blindness, otherwise the spell will immediately subside.
Step 5
With the main striking force of your monsters, attack a group that is immune to your hero's magic. This group must be destroyed as quickly as possible in order to avoid large losses in your troops.
Step 6
Identify monsters with extremely powerful retaliation attacks. Such troops are dangerous in close combat, shoot them with arrows at a distance. When there is a threat of hand-to-hand combat to your shooting troops, cover them with the nearby slow-moving forces of the hero.
Step 7
If the purpose of your attack is to protect your own territory and defend the city, do not prevent the enemy from escaping from the battlefield. This will avoid large losses in your army. If the task is to gain as much experience as possible as a result of the battle, on the contrary, try not to let the enemy escape. To do this, quickly casting the spell "Blindness" on all groups of his armies is very effective. Thus, the opponent's hero does not receive a move and cannot escape.
Step 8
To successfully defeat enemy armies and reduce losses in your own troops, also use the spells: "Recovery", "Prayer", "Clone", "Haste", "Heal". The main success of an attack is its surprise. Don't let the enemy prepare the forces to fight back and gather reinforcements. Defeating superior forces will significantly raise the level of the hero and give huge advantages in the further war.
