Use a short rod for a winter lure. Match the color to the natural bait. For deep fishing, use light silver lures as well. It is important that the lure is played against the current. Get the fish interested. Lower the spoon to the bottom and move it slightly (10 cm), and then pull it up sharply. Your movements should mimic the movements of a larva. Do this several times with some time interval.

When fishing on the current, the line, dropping to the bottom, takes the shape of an arc, so its length should be slightly greater than the depth of the reservoir in this place. When you feel the bottom, release the line another 20-30 cm. Pick up a sinker for the bait. To prevent it from being blown away by the current, make a through hole in it. You can use another fishing method. Pick up a lead with such a weight that it will be carried away a little by the current. Raise it for 3-5 seconds, and then lower it to the bottom again.
