To get a toy made with soul, it is not at all necessary to go to the store and spend money. It is much more interesting to make a toy yourself - such a toy will delight both you and your child much longer than the purchased one. In this article, you will learn how, using simple cardboard cylinders from toilet paper or disposable towels, as well as glue and paints, to make a real "battle" tank, with which you can safely play home fighting, play war with friends, and do a lot other, no less exciting things.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a few cardboard base tubes from rolls of toilet paper in advance, take a few sheets of plain white paper, a cocktail straw, PVA glue or glue gun, as well as acrylic paints and brushes. With this set of tools and materials, you can already glue and paint your first tank.
Step 2
If you do not have enough cardboard rolls, make them yourself from thick cardboard - roll the cardboard into rolls of the desired size and glue tightly.
Step 3
Take some cardboard tubes and apply a bead of glue from a glue gun to the sides of each tube.
Step 4
Press the first three tubes tightly together - you have assembled the lower "floor" of the tank, which will be its tracks. Glue two tubes of the second tier to the lower tier, applying glue to their side inner parts, as well as to the bottom.
Step 5
Cut a short cylindrical piece from the last cardboard tube and stick it on top with a "pyramid", hole up, to represent the tank turret.
Step 6
Take cuts and pieces of plain white paper, moisten it thickly in diluted PVA glue and begin to glue the rounded sides of the rolls so that there are no unsticked places left.
Step 7
On the sides, glue also even strips of paper, rounded off to the shape of the rolls, so that the figure takes the desired shape. Place a strip of paper dipped in PVA over a cocktail straw.
Step 8
Make a hole in the turret and insert a straw, additionally gluing the joints - you inserted a gun barrel into the tank.
Step 9
Now take acrylic paints, which are of higher quality than gouache paints, due to their water resistance, arm yourself with a brush and paint the tank with camouflage spots in black, light green, dark green and beige.
