For work, select the threads "Iris", "Snowflake" or "Lily", pick up a suitable crochet hook. Prepare a deep salad bowl or flower pot as a base. The shape of this object will be the shape of the future basket.

Start knitting from the bottom of the garment. Crochet a chain of five chain stitches. Close it into a ring. Tie with a single crochet. Beginning with the second row, increase the number of loops. First, knit another loop in every second loop. Make sure that the circle does not curl, but also do not allow the edge to go in waves. Knit the piece until it is the same size as the bottom of your chosen base.
Step 3
Then start decreasing the loops. In the process of knitting this part of the basket, try on the product on the base as often as possible so that it does not lose its shape. Make the necessary additions and decreases of the loops. You can knit with a single crochet, or with an openwork pattern. You can do this: knit 3 rows with a single crochet, then 3 rows with a single crochet. After that, knit 3 rows as follows: 5 single crochet, 2 air loops, insert the hook through 2 loops from the last double crochet. Then again 5 single crochet stitches, 2 stitches, double crochet through 2 stitches, etc. Where you type the air loops, you get "windows". Now 3 rows in a column with one crochet without "windows", then again a row with them, etc. Knit the last row with a single crochet. Tie the edge of the product with a half-column.
Step 4
Tie a handle for a basket: cast on a chain of air loops of the desired length, tie it in two rows with a single crochet.
Step 5
Sew the handle to the basket. From the front side, tie the bottom circumference with a half-column. Wash the finished product. Insert the basket into the base, starch, let dry.
Step 6
Decorate the basket to your liking. For example, satin ribbons or chains of air loops can be inserted into the resulting "windows". You can put artificial flowers, candies, threads, buttons, etc. into the finished basket.
