It is necessary

  • - pencil;
  • - paper;
  • - paints;
  • - graphics editor.

Instructions

Step 1

For Simba, you can start with a rough pencil sketch. This will give an idea of the general shape of the character. Draw a circle at the top right of the paper. It will become the basis for the head. Mark the chest and back of the lion cub with smaller circles. All three circles must be on the same arcuate line. Sketch the skeleton of the limbs with a pencil of a different color. Make each leg from two ellipses connected by a broken line.

Step 2

Detail the outlines of the head. The character's ears, large and rounded, are located on the sides of the head. Draw a mental line connecting the lower edges of the ears. Draw the eyes above this line. The shape of the left eye and the area around it is similar to that of an almond. The right eye is more extended upward than the left. Draw a nose below the imaginary line. It looks like a very flattened heart. The upper and lower jaw are rectangular, with rounded corners. Make the line dividing the jaws slightly curved upward.

Step 3

Draw the rest of the head. Within each eye, draw a large black pupil with a small highlight. On the underside of the nose, make two nostrils in semicircles. Shade the outer edges of the ears with black. Little Simba already has a fur, but it is quite small. To depict this, draw a few single teeth on the head, ears and chin of the character. Curved, thin eyebrows will give Simba a sly look.

Step 4

Around the skeleton of the limbs, draw the lion cub's wide paws. On the front proximal limb, clearly highlight the joint. Feet can be drawn to look like square clouds with rounded edges. The distant paws of the animal are only partially visible. It is not required to outline the feet for them. Join the circles of the body into a single shape that resembles slightly curved peanuts.

Step 5

The lion's tail is long and without hair. Only at the end there is a small fluffy tassel. Draw the ponytail curved upwards. Complete the outline of Simba by drawing four toes on each visible foot.
