Poker is an international game

Poker has millions of fans all over the world. On the Internet, many sites urge you to try your hand. You should not enter the game for money without learning the rules and combinations.

At first glance, poker seems to be a simple game that does not require any special skills from the player. But in this case, the first impression is deceiving. It takes a long time before a person really starts to understand the nuances of the game.

Now the most popular form of poker is Texas Hold'em. Here, the player receives only two cards in his hands and five community cards are laid out on the table, from which the players form combinations.

All poker hands start with mandatory bets. In Texas poker these are called the "blinds". There are small and big blinds. The big blind is always twice the small blind.

In each round of betting, bets continue until everyone involved in the hand either calls or folds or checks.

Basic terms:

• Receipt. The player wants to continue playing, but does not want to make active bets. If all players check, then the round is over and the game continues.

• Beth. Initial bid. By betting, the player makes it clear his intentions to collect the pot. In this case, the rest of the players should call the bet, either increase, or go into the fold.

• Fold. In other words, pass. The player refuses to continue the game and discards his cards.

• Call. Bets have been placed in the current hand and the player wants to call them.

• Raise. This is an increase in a bet that has already been placed by another player, by increasing the bet (making a raise), the player declares his intentions to win this hand.

• All in. When a player announces all-in. Then he is obliged to bet all the chips that he has, and in this case he automatically remains in the game to the end and fights for the bank.
