The boys are interested in military topics. They can spend hours selflessly playing war games, drawing and modeling military equipment. Having discovered a similar interest in a child, parents can push him to a passion for the visual arts by suggesting to draw a tank.

Instructions

Step 1

Since the tank has many small foreground elements, it is best to use a pencil (or colored pencils) to draw it. Then it will be possible to depict objects located in the background entirely, and then erase small fragments of them with an eraser to draw parts located closer to the observer.

Step 2

Start drawing the tank from the tower. It has the shape of a truncated cone, the height of which is much less than both diameters. To make it voluminous, depict the top in the form of an oval, and the bottom in the form of an arc, the middle of which is turned down.

Step 3

Draw the cannon in the form of a long and thin cylinder protruding from the side wall of a truncated cone. Its length should be several times greater than the lower diameter of the tower. To make the cannon appear in the foreground, erase part of the outline of the lower arc located behind it.

Step 4

Now sketch out the top of the tank's hull. Draw it in the form of a parallelogram so that the tower turns out to be standing on it. Draw the entire caterpillar in front of the observer (in the form of a parallelepiped), and draw its casing in front. The second caterpillar is located on the opposite side, so only its front casing will have to be drawn. Connect the lower lines of the shrouds to each other. After that, depict several wheels along which the caterpillar moves.

Step 5

To make the drawn tank look more like a real one, draw a spotlight on small legs over each of the front covers. Draw one or two machine guns on the sides of the tower or directly on it, and on the front wall of the tower - a periscope window. Also draw three or four hatches (their number and location depends on the tank model). Complete the drawing with images of small details: refueling and maintenance hatches, a long vertical antenna, reactive armor elements (they look like bricks placed vertically). Paint the tank in a khaki color with spots of varying brightness.
