It is necessary

  • - yarn;
  • - hook;
  • - tapestry needle;
  • - fishing line, wire or waxed thread;
  • - filler.

Instructions

Step 1

Any yarn is suitable for knitting amigurumi: cotton, for example, "Iris", acrylic, angora. The only condition is that it should not be thick. If you want to make a soft fluffy toy, knit from mohair, angora, or blended yarn. For creating textured miniatures, twisted cotton threads are best suited. Also, various leftovers of yarn, which many needlewomen have in stock, will be used.

Step 2

For knitting, you need a hook, its size should be one size less than the manufacturer's recommended one (usually it is indicated on the yarn label). This is necessary in order for the canvas to be quite dense.

Step 3

Start knitting from the head. Make an air loop or the so-called "amigurumi ring", then knit the first row with six single crochets. Next, perform all knitting with columns in a spiral.

Step 4

If you're unsure of your skills, use something round, like a tennis ball, as a template. Attach it to the knit and tie it to the middle. Then take it out and continue knitting in the reverse order. Next, knit the torso, which should be smaller than the head, paws and other necessary details according to the scheme.

Step 5

Fill all pieces with filler. It can be synthetic winterizer, holofiber, synthetic fluff or silicone. Moreover, the head should not be stuffed very tightly, and the body, on the contrary, as tightly as possible. This is done to make the toy more stable, since the head is already disproportionately large. For stability, the paws can be stuffed with balls, beads or other small plastic parts.

Step 6

Connect all the pieces. Sew the head to the body with the same thread that knitted the toy. Then paws, ears and other details.

Step 7

Sew the muzzle of the toy with a tapestry needle with a blunt tip so that it cannot damage the knitted fabric. The nose and eyes with cilia can be purchased ready-made in needlework stores and glued to the face. Make a mustache with fishing line, wire, or waxed thread.
