When crocheting, it is often necessary to expand the fabric, to make cut details of different shapes. For this, needlewomen use the technique of adding loops. Her techniques are somewhat different from each other when using one or another working tool. Try to knit several patterns of fabric, first with a simple, then with the so-called Tunisian crochet. Try adding columns at the beginning, middle, and end of the work row.
It is necessary
- - a skein of cotton thread for knitting;
- - regular hook;
- - Tunisian hook.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a regular crochet hook in your right hand and knit 2-3 straight rows of single crochets from cotton thread. Now try adding stitches at the end of the current row.
Step 2
Sew 1-5 air loops - depending on how long you need to expand the knitted fabric. Turn the work over and make the next row according to the main pattern of the product.
Step 3
To make an increase at the beginning of knitting, insert the bar of the hook into the first column of the downstream row and pull out the required number of thread bows.
Step 4
In the middle of the current row, the expansion of the web is carried out according to the example of step No. 3. In the future, carry out the increments through 1 row of the pattern; in openwork circles, always follow the pattern exactly.
Step 5
Try to introduce new posts into the work evenly, gradually, so that this does not affect the pattern of the finished product. For example, add 5 loops in stages. First row: 1 new column at the beginning of the row, 1 in the middle and 1 at the end. Knit the second row without adding. Third row: 1 column at the beginning and 1 at the end of the work.
Step 6
Master the increments of the columns in the so-called knitting "in a set" with a Tunisian crochet (a long rod with a stopper at the end). For the first row, make an air chain with the required number of links.
Step 7
Type on the loop tool shaft from right to left: insert the hook into each element of the air braid and pull the working thread.
Step 8
Close the dialed loops with a crochet hook from the front side of the canvas: put the thread on the rod and pull it through the first loop of the row; grab the working thread again and pull it through after a couple of loops. Work this way until there is only 1 leading eyelet left on the hook.
Step 9
Consider a finished Tunisian canvas. Each of its rows should consist of two layers of loops: vertical and horizontal. You need to draw open loops from each vertical arch and close the next row following the pattern in step # 8. Now you can try to put new loops into operation.
Step 10
Make an extra column on the right side of the work. The first loop is not tied; the additional thread bow must be pulled out of the vertical loop of the lower row.
Step 11
If you need to add a loop at the center of the crochet, insert the crochet into the middle of the horizontal loop below, grab a working thread and pull out a new bow. Also, do the increase at the end of the work (on the left side). In the next row, knit the added loops as usual (see step # 8).
