A variety of crocheted patterns is created by combining, alternating, changing the number of loops and columns. Any model is knitted in accordance with a pattern or pattern. The drawing shows where at a certain stage of knitting it is necessary to narrow or expand the product. Adding loops during knitting causes the fabric to expand. The number of additional stitches and how they are added depends on which crochet you are using.

Instructions
Step 1
For circular knitting (napkins, tablecloths, hats, socks) add loops in each circle of the fabric. On a single crochet row, add six stitches. If the circle is knitted from half-columns, add eight loops, if from columns with a crochet, then complement the rows with twelve loops. Further, to obtain the required diameter, as the number of crochets in the columns increases, add four loops.
Step 2
When knitting rectangular fabrics (scarves, rugs), a certain number of loops should be added at each corner. If you are using single crochets, add two stitches to one corner of the row, and if using single crochets, knit four stitches at each corner of the canvas. The middle of the columns added at the corners can be easily replaced with the corresponding number of air loops.
Step 3
The addition of loops with flat crochet is carried out both throughout the product and along the edges of the fabric. Inside the canvas, add additional loops evenly. Pre-calculate how many columns you need to increase the canvas. Distribute the resulting number of bars evenly. The principle of knitting additional loops is that the hook is inserted into the base of the loop, from where two new posts are knitted.
Step 4
To expand the fabric along the edges on the last column of the row, insert the hook into one common base of the loop and knit two columns. Repeat this technique in each row. You can add loops from both sides at once. In this case, the first loops of the edge are knitted in the usual way, and an additional set of loops begins from the second or third column from the edge of the canvas. Sometimes it becomes necessary to add several loops at once. After finishing the row, type a chain of air loops around the edge of the canvas. Having collected the required number of loops, continue to knit in the opposite direction to the previous one, focusing on the pattern of the pattern.
