True guitarists have probably faced the breakdown of their favorite instrument and situations when you don't know what to do and hurry to the master, giving your last savings for his work. There are no hopeless situations, and we will try to give some practical advice on how to fix the guitar yourself when faced with this or that problem.

Instructions

Step 1

If the cells are cracked.

Spread the cracks as wide as possible with your hands. Fill with epoxy glue.

Step 2

Squeeze the glued lesions tightly with the clamps. Let the glue dry. Remove the clamps.

Step 3

Check out the tuning of the guitar. Sand the inside of the heel of the bar if you experience any otherworldly effects while playing.

Step 4

If the guitar doesn't build.

Check all strings with their own unison and harmonics at the twelfth fret. Change the required strings in case of a mismatch of their harmonic at the 12th fret. Check again. If the problem is not with the strings, follow these steps.

Step 5

Look closely at the neck of the guitar. Fill the cut in the nut towards the tuning pegs if it is parallel to the neck. Re-glue the snare if the above methods did not help.

Step 6

If the snare comes off or rises from below during the game, prepare special clamps.

Find small wooden spacers that will grip the snare from three sides.

Step 7

Carefully clean all surfaces of the snare from the remnants of old glue. Apply new glue to it. Epoxy holds the best, but it can affect the sound, so we recommend using any wood glue.

Step 8

Fix the snare in the right place by pressing a strong stick from above, tied on one side by the button, and on the other - by the pin inserted into the screw-in hole of the neck screw. Remove the structure.

Check the snare shape. In case it is different from the original, sand it by hand.

Step 9

If the heel of the neck breaks, release the strings. Remove the bar. Glue the heel with epoxy, applying a good layer of glue, as the load on this part is quite large. Collect your guitar.

Check the sound.
