All children love to play, and therefore parents, whenever possible, indulge their whims with various toys. Having played enough, the child throws toys anywhere. To prevent this from happening, he must be taught to order from a very young age. It is important that the child has a certain place where he can tidy up his toys. You can buy a special basket of any size so that he can put his toys there, or you can sew a basket for toys yourself.

It is necessary

  • - synthetic winterizer;
  • - old linoleum;
  • - two or three pairs of unnecessary denim items (jeans are perfect);
  • - old sheet;
  • - stapler.

Instructions

Step 1

Measure out equal-sized squares on your jeans (15 by 15 centimeters are ideal). Cut them out carefully according to the pattern and fold them together.

Step 2

Separate a few squares that will go to the bottom, and sew the rest together. As a result, you should get a kind of sidewall made of squares. Sew a piece of cloth cut from the sheet of the same size to the sidewall. You should now have a canvas of two equal-sized pieces. Sew the edges of the canvases together so that the resulting fabric resembles a pipe.

Step 3

From the remaining sheet, cut a circle of the required diameter and sew it from the wrong side to your fabric, but only from the fabric side. Turn the resulting cover onto the front side. If done correctly, you will end up with something that looks like a pipe with a bottom or a barrel.

Step 4

Now make the base of the basket out of linoleum. Bend the linoleum in the same way to form a pipe, and fasten it with a stapler. Wrap the resulting pipe with the remaining fabric, and secure it on top with a padding polyester. Staple it all together with a stapler.

Step 5

Now slide the fabric cover over the base. The fabric should be on the inside and the denim squares on the outside. The basket is almost ready, all that remains is to make and secure the bottom. To do this, carefully lay the synthetic winterizer, fabric and linoleum on the fabric bottom. Now all this needs to be connected and sewn from the wrong side. To make it easier to sew up, you can fill the basket with things or put a pillow there. The bottom is neatly attached to the side with threads and the basket is ready.
