Various natural phenomena can be very beautiful, and therefore many of them attract photographers and artists who are trying to capture the moment they like. Photos with fire look spectacular and bright, in which the photographer catches the frozen moment of the movement of the flames. Photographing a moving and flexible fire so that the photograph is beautiful and of high quality is not as difficult as it seems at first glance.
Instructions
Step 1
To shoot, you need an ordinary camera, which does not have to be professional. Since the movements of the fire are unpredictable, be prepared to do many takes, from which you will then select the most successful shots.
Step 2
Choose the angle and shooting distance depending on what exactly you are photographing - a static fire or moving lights in the hands of dancers during a fire show. Observe how the fire you intend to shoot behaves and adjust your equipment accordingly. Disable auto sensitivity (ISO) and then manually set the minimum value.
Step 3
Shoot in camera mode S to lock the shutter speed and adjust the exposure with the corresponding button. If you are shooting in M mode (manual mode), set the exposure using the shutter speed and aperture value.
Step 4
Use a fast shutter speed (1/350) for a snapshot of a frozen fire. Just set the aperture to f / 5. These values are easy to set even on the cheapest digital camera.
Step 5
If you are shooting a moving fire (for example, a fire show) and want to show the dynamics of fire in your photos, set the shutter speed to 2-3 seconds and put the camera on a tripod so that it does not move during the shooting. Take as many shots as possible so that you can choose the best shots for your collection later.
