How to spend your well-deserved vacation? There are many options. For example, you can go underwater hunting in a nearby body of water where fish are found. This requires special equipment. The most important part of it is the weapon with which you will hit the fish. It's called a pike. How can you make it yourself?

Step 1
To make the main part of the peak, you will need a tube with a diameter of 10-12 millimeters and a meter and a half length. It is best if it is made of fiberglass, plexiglass or aluminum. If none of the above is available, a wooden stick will do, but it should be handled well. It should have a circular cross-section. The surface of the stick should be perfectly smooth, without burrs and serifs. It is best to treat a wooden stick with some kind of moisture-resistant compound, otherwise it will not serve you for a long time.
Step 2
Find a rubber hose with a diameter of 10 to 15 millimeters. These can be found in auto or hardware stores, as well as pharmacies. When unstretched, the hose should be at the level of 1/3 of the lance length. It is also worth considering the margin of length, since at one end it will be put on a stick.
Step 3
Now you need to find the sharpest part of the peak - the tip. It can be single-pronged or multi-pronged. It all depends on the fish you will be hunting. The larger the fish, the more teeth will be able to hold it. In old household trash, you can find something to make a tip. The shops also sell different types of handpieces. You can buy a tip with two teeth, one of which is a continuation of the shaft, and the other is bent in the opposite direction. Sharpen the tip of your choice.

Now you can proceed directly to the assembly. Take a shaft and attach a tip to one end of it. Carefully check the reliability of your mount so that it does not accidentally fall off during the hunt. Now take the rubber hose and pull it over the other end of the shaft. Attach a loop to the opposite end. It can be made from ordinary lace. The hose on the shaft can be fixed with moisture-resistant glue for greater reliability. But you can do without it. The principle of your lance is simple: put a loop on your thumb, take the lance with your palm in the middle so that the hose stretches. When you see a fish, you just need to direct the pike at it and open your palm - the pike will shoot right at the target.
