Drawing is a very exciting activity for both children and adults. But where to start drawing for a person who has practically no experience in this area? How to explain to a child how, for example, to draw a car?

Step 1
To teach your child to draw beautiful cars, first try to cope with this task yourself. First of all, prepare the work surface of the table: free it from foreign objects. Create the most comfortable working environment for yourself: put a desk lamp if the table surface is not sufficiently lit, and also prepare a jar of water (if you paint with paints) or a set of colored pencils. For drawing lessons, A4 sheets or a sketchbook are quite suitable.
Step 2
Sit down with your child at the table so that you do not have to share the free space. Take a simple slate pencil (and give one to your child) and a blank piece of paper. Visually divide the sheet into 2 halves: upper and lower.
Step 3
Draw a trapezoid in the upper half of the sheet. Draw two parallel lines, one (the one above) is short, the other (the one below) is longer. When drawing this trapezoid, be sure to comment on all your actions. Let your child repeat what you have shown. Thus, the top of the machine will be ready.
Step 4
Once the trapezoid is drawn, draw a rectangle under it that will be approximately 1.5 times wider than the bottom line of the trapezoid. In the process of drawing, you can use a ruler: the child will like straight lines, and the ruler will make the task easier for him.
Step 5
As soon as you and the baby finish drawing the lower part of the car, show him where the wheels should be in the picture: make outlines in the form of dots and let the child circle them. As you master the technique of drawing a car, complicate the task for the student: let the kid himself draw glass, doors and other parts of the car.
