The way of decorating a skirt depends on the cut of this product. The more complex the pattern, the more folds, the fewer decorative elements are needed, and vice versa, a simple skirt made of plain fabric is boring and requires a twist.
It is necessary
- - satin ribbon 4-6 cm wide;
- - threads to match the tape;
- - needles;
- - scissors;
- - decorative cord or soutache;
- - beads or stones with holes;
- - tulle or organza.
Instructions
Step 1
Decorate your tulip skirt. If it is made of a solid material or not too variegated fabric, you can decorate it with a bow. The first option for placing a bow is simple - tie a satin ribbon of a suitable color around the waist, it will look especially impressive if a pencil skirt is made with a high waist.
Step 2
Another option will require more skill. Take a soft satin ribbon, lay a basting seam along the sides, stepping back 1 mm from the edge. Pull up the thread so that the tape is gathered on both sides. Sew the resulting ruffle on both sides along the middle seam at the back from the waistband to the beginning of the cut or spline. Tie a neat bow from the ribbon, sew it over the ruffle where the cut begins. Choose a ribbon that matches the material of the skirt so that the satin sheen only sets it off.
Step 3
Decorate the skirt-year. In the general case, such skirts are sewn from high-quality monochromatic fabric, and the whole attractiveness of this style lies in the flowing folds. However, a summer linen year skirt can be decorated with a decorative cord or soutache. It is best to choose a shade similar to the color of the base material. Lay out the lace in the form of monograms and curls at the bottom of the skirt, below the narrowest point. Sew in small stitches. Sew on small, cut stones with holes in several areas (these remain from scattered beads or bracelets).
Step 4
Give a new look to a boring A-skirt. To do this, sew several lower hem from organza or tulle. You can use a sun or half-sun skirt pattern, the main thing is that the waist circumference coincides with the width of the belt on the finished skirt, and the length of the petticoats is 4-6 cm longer. Gently sew on light petticoats from the inside, they will add volume to the product and will look flirty from below. You can also place a bow made of the same material around your waist.
