It is necessary
- - fabric for the skirt;
- - knitted fabric or unnecessary T-shirt;
- - sewing machine;
- - rubber;
- - scissors;
- - thread, needle.
Instructions
Step 1
A skirt for a pregnant woman with a knitted yoke is very comfortable to wear. It does not restrict movement, allows the skin of the tummy to breathe. If you don't have the right fabric, a regular T-shirt will do. Attach it to you, turning it upside down. Measure the width of the shirt you want to cut to about 15 centimeters. This is the yoke of the skirt. If the shirt is thin, fold it in half.
Step 2
This part of the product can be rectangular. If you want, then make it slightly raised on the sides. To do this, draw a wavy line at the bottom of the yoke. It begins in the middle of the front and smoothly, in the form of a wave, rises to the right and left sides. Draw this line on the back of the yoke in the same way, and then cut the yoke along the markings.
Step 3
Measure your hips. If you want to sew a straight skirt, then add 3 cm to this figure for a free fit. For lovers of lush products, let them add 20-40 cm.
Step 4
The resulting figure is the width of the skirt. Measure the length from where the yoke ends, to the knee or above / below it. Transfer the numbers to the main canvas by cutting it out in the shape of a rectangle. Use a thin fabric for a fluffy skirt.
Step 5
Sew the canvas in half. The seam will be at the back. Place a few folds on the top of the main fabric of the skirt. Sew it to the knitted yoke. Fold over the top of the garment by 3 centimeters. Stitch off the belt. Thread a rubber band into it. Hem the bottom of the garment. A skirt on a yoke for a pregnant woman is ready.
Step 6
If you want to sew a fluffy summer skirt, then make it with an elastic band. Take a lightweight canvas, the width of which is 1.5-2 times the volume of your thighs. The first number is more suitable for plump ladies, the second - for slender ones. The length is whatever suits you. Measure the obtained values on the fabric, cut out a rectangle, leaving one centimeter allowance for the side seams, 3 for the hem of the top and bottom.
Step 7
Sew the canvas, fold on top, stitch. Insert elastic and hem the bottom on your hands.
Step 8
The wrap skirt can be worn throughout pregnancy, adjusting the width of the skirt as the tummy grows. Attach a cloth to you. If the tummy is large, you are in the last months of pregnancy, then it is enough to add 15-20 for the smell. If you are sewing a skirt "for growth" and it is still small, then add 20-30 cm.
Step 9
The resulting figure is the width of the skirt. Make as long as you want. Hem the 2 smaller pieces of the rectangle. These are the seams on the right and left wrap of the skirt. Hem the top and bottom of the garment. You can button such a skirt with sturdy buttons, Velcro or hooks. If you want to sew on buttons, then attach overhead loops on the other side and fasten the buttons on them.
