Billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev has been married for more than 20 years to his age-old Elena, whom he met in his student years. The businessman's wife filed for divorce in 2008, accusing him of adultery. The settlement of all issues related to the division of property took 6 years. As a result, Rybolovlev's ex-wife received compensation in the amount of $ 600 million. Student marriage
Elena, like her former husband, was born and raised in Perm. She met her future husband while studying at the Perm Medical Institute. Dmitry Rybolovlev continued the family dynasty, since his parents were also doctors and at the same time teachers of the institute where their son entered. He even chose the same specialization as his father - cardiology.
A fellow student of the future businessman, Elena Chuprakova, was considered an enviable bride. In 1987, her father Vladimir took over as director of a mineral fertilizer plant in Perm. The Rybolovlevs did not enter into a marriage contract, although, according to rumors, in 2005 Dmitry offered his wife to sign a document according to which she was guaranteed to receive $ 100 million after the divorce. By the way, the deceived wife could challenge the decision to cut payments in the Supreme Court of Switzerland. But she did not do this, having concluded an amicable agreement with her ex-husband. By October 2015, the parties waived their mutual claims, completing any legal proceedings related to the divorce.
