Dmitry Malikov is a rare example of constancy and marital fidelity on the Russian stage. He and his wife Elena have been together for over 25 years, they are raising two children. In many interviews, journalists ask Malikov's wife about the secret of their family happiness. Elena admits that living with a famous artist is not at all easy, but over the years she learned to look at some moments of the relationship differently than in her youth.
Hostage of the "golden cage"
By the time she met the popular singer, Elena had already achieved a lot: she managed to be married, have a daughter, open a successful business, and develop her creative talents. In a word, she appeared before Dmitry as a strong, intelligent, independent woman.
Elena spent her childhood and youth in Kazan. She was lucky to be born on a beautiful day - February 14 - in 1963. True, the fashion for the Western Valentine's Day came to the country much later. After school, Elena continued her education at a local art school, and then went to Moscow to study directing. Most likely, the move was somehow connected with the marriage of a young woman. After all, from the age of 18 she was married to a successful businessman, to whom she gave birth to a daughter, Olga. It was close people who helped Elena to survive the terrible grief that befell her at the age of 20 - one after another she lost both parents.
Elena does not hide that her first husband was a wealthy and generous man. She lived in luxury and prosperity, so she could afford to do anything. For example, she studied directing at VGIK under the eminent Sergei Solovyov, the creator of Assa and A Hundred Days After Childhood. In parallel, she worked on the creation of her own line of beachwear. Elena's biography also includes teaching experience at a children's art school. And creative aspirations in the world of cinema, ultimately, took shape in a cameo role in the comedy "The Committee of Arkady Fomich", work as an artist in the melodrama "The Bee" and the experience of creating two short films - "The Abyss", "Angoteya".
By the time of the meeting with Dmitry Malikov, his future wife had lived and worked for a long time in Vienna at a joint Russian-Austrian enterprise. Her daughter Olga studied there. The marriage with her first husband, according to Elena, existed only on paper. By the age of 25, she came to the feeling that she was not living the way she would like, too mundane. Therefore, from now on, I wanted to see next to me not only a materially successful man, but also a versatile spiritual personality.

Dmitry was the first to pay attention to his future wife, and without even seeing her with his own eyes. He liked Elena's photo in an album with mutual friends. The young man immediately began to beg them to arrange a meeting for him with a charming stranger. When a friend told about Dmitry's interest, Elena knew only well-known facts about him: a young singer, the son of the creator of the "Gems" ensemble. Of course, the young woman was flattered by such attention, especially given the age difference (7 years) in her favor and Malikov's many female fans.
Their acquaintance took place during a break between the filming of some program in which Dmitry participated. Already in the first meeting, Elena realized that she had found her man. Malikov surprisingly combined the qualities that she wanted to see in a man: maturity, intelligence, kindness, intelligence, delicacy, openness.
At first, their romance developed mainly over the phone. Elena often went on business trips for work, and Dmitry toured a lot. But this format of relations only further spurred their attraction to each other.

And on February 13, 2000, Elena presented herself a birthday present and gave birth to a daughter, Stephanie. The appearance of a common child pushed the lovers to formalize their relationship. When Dmitry found out that in order to register his daughter in his own name, he must be married to her mother, he immediately suggested that Elena put stamps in her passports. So suddenly they became one family, not only in life, but also on paper.
According to Malikova, the birth of a daughter had a beneficial effect on Dmitry: he became more mature, more responsible. The girl grew up to be a real beauty and is very similar to her mother. In 2017, Stephanie graduated from high school and entered the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. Since adolescence, she has been trying her hand in different directions - showing clothes on the catwalk, taking pictures for fashion magazines, recording songs, maintaining a personal page on Instagram, to which almost half a million people are subscribed.
In January 2018, journalists learned that the Malikov spouses had a second joint child - a son. True, for this they resorted to the IVF procedure and the services of a surrogate mother. The boy was named Mark. The birth of a son was an old dream of Dmitry, he mentioned this more than once in an interview. The Malikovs did not manage to hide the joyful event from the public for a long time. The staff of the clinic in St. Petersburg, where the child was born, recognized the eminent visitors and “handed them over” to journalists. People perceived the unexpected news differently, especially considering Elena's age (almost 55 years old at that time). But over time, the gossip subsided, and fans are happy to be touched by the pictures of little Mark, which are published by his parents and older sister.
