The sparkling wit Dmitry Brekotkin is one of the best actors of the show "Ural dumplings" and the KVN team, the 2000 champion. The comedian surprises not only with his original talent, but also with his constancy: not far off thirty years of work on stage with his beloved collective. Dmitry is faithful not only to his team, but also to his only friend in life, Ekaterina, the mother of his two daughters Anastasia and Elizabeth.
Athlete, builder, KVN worker
Today it is difficult to imagine the popular Ural dumplings show on STS without Dmitry Brekotkin. Meanwhile, he was born into a family far from the artistic environment, and he hardly dreamed of being a humorist actor from childhood. Dmitry's childhood took place in the 70s in the city of Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg), dad worked as an engineer, mom was a medical worker.
Dima Brekotkin always loved sports, and he tried himself in a variety of sections - he swam, skied, mastered badminton and orienteering. Subsequently, he settled on sambo, as a result, he received the title of candidate for master of sports.
After high school, where, by the way, he studied at the "troika", Brekotkin entered the Ural Polytechnic Institute, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He studied only the first year and ended up in the ranks of the SA, in the tank forces, where he took part in the withdrawal of a group of troops stationed in Germany.
Continuing his studies at a polytechnic university, Brekotkin gained a reputation among his acquaintances as a person not only witty and cheerful, but also purposeful and unshakable. Dmitry even had a corresponding student nickname - Iron Felix.
Stroyotryady, KVN and love
The construction movement of students became a start in life for Brekotkina, because it was thanks to him that he met Dmitry Sokolov, the organizer of the team of the Club of cheerful and resourceful "Ural dumplings". Since then, he has not parted with his beloved team.
In the construction brigade, Brekotkin had another fateful meeting - with Catherine. The acquaintance took place in 1994, and a year later the young people got married. In 1997, Anastasia Dmitrievna Brekotkina was born, in 2004 her second daughter, Elizaveta.
Dmitry was not as interested in studying at the Ural Polytechnic Institute as in participating in KVN, so he was safely expelled, and he never received a higher education. Brekotkin had to work as a plasterer's assistant, master some other specialties and grow to a master of construction and installation works.
However, work in KVN captured the humorist more and more, and as a result, work in humorous shows became a profession for him. In 1995, the Uralskiye Pelmeni KVN team, as a result of selection in Sochi, became part of the Major League of the club, and in 2000 became the last KVN champion of the 20th century.
The backbone of the cast of "Ural dumplings" did not break up, but began to perform with their own show on STS, organized concerts in Yekaterinburg and tours across Russia. Dmitry Brekotkin himself has always taken part in the show, as one of the brightest actors and authors. Viewers also saw him in other programs, for example, "Yuzhnoye Butovo" and "Unreal Story".
Exemplary family man
When reporters asked how he manages to keep the family harmony for so long and live in perfect harmony with his wife for many years, Brekotkin once answered in his usual humorous way: “We don’t change horses on the crossing”. But jokes are jokes, and the Brekotkins really went through fire and water together, the family was not destroyed either by the difficult first years of marriage, when there was sorely lack of money in the family, or the subsequent test of fame.
Despite the constant traveling, rehearsals, performances, great popularity and many fans, Dmitry remains a faithful husband and an exemplary family man. Brekotkin does not hide his family from those around him, but on the contrary, he always talks about his girls with pride and love.
Dmitry Brekotkin's wife, Ekaterina, was able not only to raise two children, but also to complete graduate school. She is a real ally of her husband, sometimes accompanies him to events and gets along well with representatives of the Uralskiye Dumplings team.
Nastya Brekotkina is fond of sports, has success in synchronized swimming.
Younger Liza is fond of acrobatics and, moreover, she is artistic, she sings well. According to the most loving dad, the children of Dmitry Brekotkin know how to please others. In an interview, the comedian admitted that he would not mind the birth of his son as well.
Ekaterina Brekotkina still lives in Yekaterinburg, waiting for her husband on tour and raising daughters, besides, she always remembers that Dmitry simply adores perfect cleanliness in the house. Therefore, you can be sure that she runs the house perfectly. Catherine often advises her famous husband what to wear and what haircut to make.
Of course, Brekotkin's wife spends the lion's share of the time with the children, and in rare moments of rest, the father of the family just loves to lie on the couch, if you believe his own words. However, he admitted in an interview that more than one set of ski equipment and children's sledges are placed in the trunk of his car. This means that the family has never been alien to active joint recreation. It is known that Dmitry loves windsurfing, horse riding, cars.
The stability of the Brekotkin marriage, time-tested, is the merit of not only the most famous humorist, but also his faithful wife. Ekaterina is a wise and strong woman who knows how to wait and forgive, who always amazes with her youth and beauty, athletic figure and freshness, as if time were running out of her.
Fans of Dmitry Brekotkin's creativity want to believe that their favorite show and one of the most recognizable "dumplings" will delight their viewers for a long time, and after the actor's tour, home warmth and comfort will always await.
