A painting depicting a house on the shore of a lake can become an artist's dream come true. It's nice to be at least mentally transported to such a natural corner. Drawing in stages will help make objects as realistic as possible.
Dream House
First, decide on which plan of the drawing there will be two main objects - a house and a lake. You can place them on the same line. Bring the building to the front on the right. Then leave a place for the reservoir on the left. To keep these two objects fairly large, lay the sheet of paper horizontally.
The simplest house consists of two geometric shapes. Draw its facade in the form of a square or rectangle, and a triangular roof. Decide what material the building is from. The facade can be made of stone. Draw several circles of irregular shape in the corner of the wall, it will be seen that in this place the plaster has peeled off, and stones have appeared. In the same way, you can show that the dwelling is made of brick by drawing several rectangles in any corner, arranged in a checkerboard pattern.
Such a building may have a tile roof. First, draw strips of the same width on it, then divide each into several squares. This line can be wavy, elements of a tiled roof can be like that.
Don't forget to leave room for the window and door, draw them. These building details are necessary for any house, including a wooden one. After you have created its scheme from a rectangle and a triangle, bevel the corner of the latter. Let the roof be thatched. Several semicircular lines drawn to the right and left of its top will show what kind of material it is.
The walls are logs, to show this on the canvas, draw small symmetrical circles on the left and right of the front wall that go from bottom to top. They are located one above the other - these are log cuts. Now draw horizontal lines from the bottom of the left circle to the right, draw such parallel lines to the top, without going over the window and door. Draw a pipe on the roof.
Water
Drawing a lake is also easy. On the left side of the canvas, draw a circle slightly elongated to the right and left sides. This is what a round lake looks like when viewed from the front.
Draw 2-3 water lilies on its surface. First, draw a heart-shaped leaf with a beveled corner, and on it a lily. It consists of sharp petals. Cover the sheet with pencil strokes so that you can see it is dark. Leave the flower white. Let the sun shine in the sky, casting glare on the water. To do this, make several hatched vertical paths on its surface. They should be on either side of the sun-lit area.
Place some trees or bushes in the background. The painting, which depicts the house and the lake, is complete.
