Valentine's Day is coming soon. You have probably already prepared a present for your loved one. But what about without a postcard? You can create such a cute postcard with your own hands from beautiful scraps of fabric. And what is done by the hands of any person is doubly pleasant.
Instructions
Step 1
First, draw a beautiful heart on thick paper and cut it out. This will be the template. Now we take a beautiful piece of fabric, turn it over to the wrong side and secure the template with pins. Carefully cut out the fabric heart according to the template. In the same way, we make a leaf template and cut out two parts from green fabric along it.
Step 2
Now we cut out a rectangle from white paper. This will be the background where we will attach our "heart flower". Draw the sides of the rectangle with curly scissors. Lightly grease the fabric heart and leaves with glue and glue them to the white rectangle. Let it dry for a few minutes.
Step 3
We thread a thread of a suitable color into the sewing machine, set the longest stitch and sew along the edge of the heart, retreating about 4 mm from the edge.
Step 4
Next, we sew vertically down from the base of the heart. This will be the stem. And now you can stitch the leaves starting from the tip to the stem. We do not cut the threads short. We leave the ponytails so that you can tie a knot on the back for security. We will also secure everything with scotch tape.
Step 5
Now we make the actual postcard from colored cardboard. Gently bend it in half. This can be done using a long ruler. On the front side of the postcard, glue a white rectangle with a ready-made "heart flower". The rectangle should be slightly smaller than the postcard.
Step 6
Our postcard is ready. It remains to write a heartfelt message in it and put it in a beautiful envelope.
