Salted dough and its production is simple and easy. Various kinds of crafts are often made from it. Although many will say that sculpting from plasticine is better, but salty dough hardens quickly, holds its shape better, and it is much easier to decorate "sculptures" from it. You can't decorate plasticine in your own way. We will show you how to spend time with your child.
It is necessary
-
- flour
- salt
- water
- vegetable oil (depending on the selected recipe)
Instructions
Step 1
Recipe 1: 1 glass of flour, half a cup of salt, preferably a finer grind, and if it is rather coarse, for example, seafood, then it is better to dissolve it in water, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, but you can also add cream and warm water instead.
Step 2
Recipe 2: 300 grams of flour, 300 grams of salt, 200 grams of water and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Step 3
Recipe 3: 1 tablespoon of flour, preferably with a pea, a spoonful of salt, 1 tablespoon of warm water, and, literally, a few drops of warm water.
Step 4
Recipe 4: 200 grams of wheat flour, 200 grams of rye flour, 250 ml of water, 200 grams of salt and 2 tablespoons of wallpaper glue (dry). The glue will give elasticity to the dough and strength to fakes. It is better to take dry wallpaper glue, before kneading, it should be poured with warm water.
Step 5
Kneading the dough 1.
- You need to mix the flour and salt well
- Then gradually and little by little add oil and water, knead the dough until it is elastic and wrinkles well in your hands. It will take a long time to knead. The water should not be too warm or too cold. If the dough is too soft, add flour and salt and knead until smooth.
- After you have completely kneaded the dough, you will need to put it in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
Step 6
Kneading the dough 2.
- Mix salt and flour in a bowl.
- Dilute wallpaper glue and pour it into the dough. It should be kneaded thoroughly, since then, during the sculpting, it will break.
Step 7
Storage
Such dough is stored for quite a long time. It should be placed in a plastic bag and kept in the refrigerator. You do not need to put the dough in the freezer, as it will harden and will not be suitable for work when defrosting. If it softens after the refrigerator, then you will need flour and salt again, and then knead until smooth.
