If desired, you can add a tablespoon of sunflower oil to the dough. It will stick to your hands less and become even more pliable.
Step 2
Tear off small pieces and sculpt the figures. The dough dries quickly in the air, so keep the bulk, as before, in cling film. Let your child show imagination, work together, help him with small details.
Salted dough perfectly holds its shape and retains any prints. For making prints and creating bas-reliefs, you can use coins, buttons, curly pasta.
For toddlers who find it difficult to sculpt small toys, you can roll out a sheet of dough and give cookie cutters. They will be able to decorate the resulting figures at their discretion.
