Weaving from beads is a skill that knows no boundaries. Having learned how to weave beaded bracelets, you can complement your image with original accessories, demonstrate your individuality and bring creative ideas to life.
Instructions
Step 1
Start weaving with the simplest model. Measure the circumference of your wrist to get an idea of how long you want your braided bauble to reach. Select the beads of the desired colors The size of the beads can be the same or differ from one another.
Step 2
Place the beads on a fluffy cloth on a tabletop to prevent them from rolling off - for example, on a towel, and place previously purchased clasps next to them. Do not forget about the pattern according to which you will weave - it can be very simple or more complex, you can also come up with a bracelet model yourself. In any case, the order of weaving will be the same.
Step 3
Take a strong reinforced thread and tie a knot at the end of it. Cut off the excess thread with scissors, and then apply some transparent glue to the knot to strengthen it. Dry the glue and put the clasp of the future bracelet on the tip of the knotted thread.
Step 4
Use pliers to grasp the fasteners of the clasp and check if it is securely fastened. On the thread from the free edge, start stringing beads according to the predetermined order of colors.
Step 5
A bracelet in which several threads with strung beads are twisted into a spiral at once will look very impressive - you can make such a bracelet even if you have never done beadwork before.
Step 6
Take multi-colored beads such as black and white. Secure the black bead so that it is the base of the two ends of the thread. Add one black and two white beads to each end, and then thread the thread through the black bead on the main thread to form a diamond.
Step 7
The thread must be tightened so that it is in slight tension, but not too tight. Continue weaving until you achieve the desired width of the future bracelet.
Step 8
Next, make another row, hooking the black beads of the previous row with the thread. Repeat the row as many times as you want the bracelet to be. If you want to make the bracelet more lacy, you can add three or even four instead of two white beads.
Step 9
At the end of weaving, when the bauble reaches the desired length, make another knot, grease it with glue, and when it dries, fasten the second part of the fastener with pliers on the knot. The bracelet is ready.
