white printer paper, glue or double-sided tape, cardboard or foam base for the wreath (optional), ribbon.
1. Print the butterfly image on the printer. For an example of a butterfly, see the picture below:
Helpful Hint: If you have a regular monochrome laser printer, print out silhouettes of butterflies and color them with pencils, felt-tip pens, or watercolors. If you have a color printer, print immediately color images of butterflies, as in the picture above.
2. From cardboard or foam, cut the base for the round wreath with a hole in the middle.
3. Stick the paper butterflies with glue or double-sided tape on the base so that they fit as tightly as possible. If the base of the wreath is still slightly visible, fill in the gaps with small butterflies or artificial flowers, satin ribbon bows, etc.
4. Glue (or sew on) a piece of ribbon on the back of the wreath to hang the wreath. If the wreath is heavy and there is a risk that the ribbon will come off, then just pass the ribbon between the butterflies around the wreath.
Helpful advice: if there are butterflies left, decorate them with ordinary photo frames, walls … Let your guests get the impression that a flock of butterflies has flown into your house, most have sat on a wreath, and some have got lost.
