Boys of all ages are delighted with the sight of cars, trucks, dump trucks, motor ships and steamers, trains, planes and helicopters. Many of them are fond of making water, land and air transport from improvised means: paper, cardboard, various, at first glance, absolutely useless gizmos. A model of an airplane, for example, is not at all difficult to make for a schoolchild or an adult.

Cardboard tube from a roll of paper towels, 6 cocktail tubes, paper tape, blue tape, cardboard or thick paper, scissors, plastic or paper cup, colored stickers with numbers
Instructions
Step 1
Before you start making an airplane model, you need to prepare all the parts that you need for this.
Step 2
Several parts should be cut out of cardboard or thick paper. Two identical long rectangles rounded at both ends will be required in the future for the manufacture of aircraft wings. A small rectangle, also rounded at both ends, with a triangular cut on one side, and a square, with one cut and one rounded corner, are useful for making a tail.
Step 3
4 pieces of paper, resembling an hourglass, will be needed for the wings of an airplane. Also, a propeller with a small hole in the middle should be cut out of paper.
Step 4
7 holes should be made in the glass. One hole should be located on the bottom of the glass, and 6 others along its perimeter are at the same level.
Step 5
Now you need to prepare the cocktail straws for use. To make an airplane, you will need 6 upper parts and one lower one. Half of the bottom of the tube should be wrapped with paper tape.
Step 6
The 6 resulting short tubes should be inserted into the 6 holes in the cup so that the tubes are pointing down. In this case, the glass should be upside down.
Step 7
Now the tube, wrapped with paper tape, must be inserted into the bottom of the glass so that the part with the tape is inside the glass.
Step 8
The propeller of the future aircraft should be put on the tube protruding from the bottom of the glass.
Step 9
Next, the propeller should be secured by wrapping the visible part of the tube with paper tape. The resulting structure must be put on a cardboard tube prepared at the very beginning of work.
Step 10
Now on a long rectangle cut out of cardboard or thick paper, 4 figures resembling an hourglass should be glued using blue electrical tape. The figures should be perpendicular to the rectangle. A hole should be cut in the middle of the paper tube. The nose of the aircraft, the partitions between the upper and lower wings, the edges of the wings and the edges of the pilot hole can be sealed with duct tape.
Step 11
At the back end of the cardboard tube, you need to make 3 slots for the tail. One at the top and two on the sides.
Step 12
Now it's time to make the tail itself. It's not difficult at all. You just need to connect the 2 parts prepared at the beginning of work with paper tape.
Step 13
The resulting aircraft tail must be inserted into the slots at the end of the cardboard tube. The tail is ready. You can decorate it by gluing the edges with electrical tape.
Step 14
The airplane model is almost complete. It remains only to complete the wings by attaching the upper part to the existing structure. Decorate with numbers or lettering.
