Napkins are a simple and affordable material for creativity. Flowers made from them can be used in a variety of ways. They will be useful to you both for interior decoration or table setting, as well as for decorating gift wrapping or when creating greeting cards.
It is necessary
- - white or pink paper napkins;
- - markers;
- - wire;
- - scissors;
- - green corrugated paper;
- - stapler.
Instructions
Step 1
Fold a few paper napkins in a straight pile. If you have white and pale pink napkins, alternate them, then the flower will turn out to be more interesting coloring.
Step 2
Choose a glass or wine glass of a suitable diameter. Flip it onto a stack of napkins and draw a circle. Use scissors to cut blanks from the entire mass of napkins at once or divide it into several parts. The edges can be made slightly wavy straight away or left in an even circle.
Step 3
Take the cut out and folded napkin circles in one hand and staple them in the center. Arrange the paper clips crosswise.
Step 4
Measure the desired length of the wire, which will be the flower stem, and separate it with wire cutters. Pierce one end of the wire through the center of the paper, next to the staples. Bend the wire over the staples and pierce the napkins again. Using a pair of pliers, twist the two wire ends under the future flower.
Step 5
Take a felt-tip pen in one hand and a blank of napkins in the other. Paint the paper end in a circle. You can use a watercolor brush instead of a felt-tip pen. Choose the color of the paint to your liking. The flower may look like a real one, or it may have an absolutely fantastic color.
Step 6
Use scissors to make small, frequent notches around the paper circle. Now, grasping the wire under the flower with one hand, with the fingers of your other hand, collect a thin napkin circle towards the center and squeeze it slightly so that it remains in a standing position. Thus, collect the entire flower in one round layer.
Step 7
Use a green cocktail straw for the stem. Pass a wire through it. Secure the stem near the flower with a strip of clear tape. Instead of a straw, you can wrap the wire with green corrugated paper or sticky floral tape.
Step 8
For a vintage-style flower, color it with strong tea or coffee. Dip the finished flower from a white napkin with unpainted ends into a strong tea leaves very quickly. Do not submerge it entirely, only with the very edges of the petals. Then leave it hanging upside down to dry.
