Step 1
A napkin postcard is a small original birthday present. The most difficult thing is to "decorate" the napkin on watercolor paper. This can be done without the help of glue and water. Remove the bottom two layers from the napkin. Place cling film on a piece of watercolor or pastel white paper, then a napkin and a sheet of copier paper on top.
Step 2
Run the hot iron several times. Once the napkin is sealed to the paper, remove the copier sheet and apply matte decoupage glue. To create a postcard, cut a square to the desired size, and trim the edges with curly scissors.
An original napkin card will only come out of a decoupage napkin, which has three layers.
Step 3
In order to make an original postcard from a napkin with your own hands, prepare a square of colored paper of a larger size than a square with a napkin. Decorate its edges with curly scissors. Then fold a sheet of A4 watercolor paper in half. Stick a colored square on it, and a square with a napkin on top. Decorate the blank with braid and lace to match. Use a red and green outline to emphasize individual sections. Highlight the lettering on the napkin with a golden outline.
Step 4
In order to decorate a napkin card, you will need decorative silk or paper flowers. Glue them to add volume to the card. An original napkin card is an inexpensive birthday gift.
You can make your own flowers from crepe paper or fabric. The easiest option is roses. By twisting a strip of fabric or paper in a spiral, you get a flower for a postcard. Several roses will decorate the postcard, making it original.
