Topiary is a small original tree. Making this wonderful tree with your own hands is not difficult at all. After carving out two or three hours of free time in your daily routine, preparing the necessary materials, calling on your imagination and inspiration - start creating an exquisite decoration for the interior, a wonderful creative gift to your family and friends, a unique hand-made souvenir for sale - a topiary made of paper napkins.
It is necessary
- - a pack of plain paper napkins;
- - scissors;
- - glue gun;
- - foam ball with a diameter of 8 cm;
- - pots;
- - green sisal;
- - building gypsum (about 400 g);
- - decorative flower;
- - 150-200 ml of cold water;
- - 20 cm ribbon (nylon or satin);
- - artificial pearl beads with a diameter of 8 mm;
- - green floral ribbon;
- - PVA glue;
- - a branch of a tree 20 cm long.
Instructions
Step 1
Start your topiary by making paper flowers. To do this, take single or double layer wipes. When choosing the second option, the flowers will turn out to be more magnificent than with the first option. Fold the napkin in four, staple in the middle with a stapler. Use scissors to cut a circle out of the napkin squares. To get a clearer shape, you can use a cardboard template, for this, apply it to a napkin and circle it with a pencil, cut out a shape along the drawn line. Squeeze each layer of the circle to the center, and then straighten it. Receive a beautiful flower. For topiary you will need thirty to thirty-five such flowers.
Step 2
The next step is to create a tree trunk. To do this, take a tree branch with a diameter of one centimeter, grease it with PVA glue and wrap it with green floral tape. Hot glue the lower part of the tree you just created with its upper part, the crown, by inserting the trunk into a foam ball.
Step 3
Continue working on creating a wonderful tree, pasting the newly created crown with flower buds in a circle. Use a hot glue gun to apply hot glue to the base of the bud and press it against the ball. Continue in this way until you have decorated the entire surface of the ball.
Step 4
Mix the stucco with water. Take a beautiful flower pot, insert the tree you created into it and fill it with the prepared solution. Hold the topiary until the plaster mix hardens.
Step 5
Decorate the hardened surface with green sisal so that no exposed areas are visible. To hold the sisal on the surface of the planter, drop the glue in two or three places and press it down for a few seconds. Attach the flower to the sisal with a glue gun, thereby giving the topiary extra shine and beauty. Decorate the trunk of the tree with a bow made of a matching satin (nylon) ribbon. A napkin topiary will look even more elegant if artificial pearl beads are glued to the surface of the crown in several places.
Step 6
