- - thermal gun;
- - acrylic paint;
- - varnish;
- - picture (for decoupage);
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare sticks of the required size, reducing them by 4 cm using a jigsaw.
Fasten all the sticks with a heat gun into a single canvas. Apply glue to the ribs from both ends of the sticks. If the edges of the workpiece are not quite even, later they can be masked with a frame of sticks.
On the seamy side of the workpiece, glue along the stick along the edges to secure the structure.
Step 2
Putty the workpiece to level the surface, since the sticks can be of different thicknesses and crooked.
When the putty is dry, sand the workpiece and paint it with acrylic paint. Allow to dry and cover with a layer of varnish.
Step 3
Carry out decoupage using the method of transferring a napkin-picture to the surface using a file.
Step 4
After the end of decoupage, arrange a frame of sticks, you can paint them or just varnish them. Attach the frame using a heat gun. Attach a hook on the back of the portrait.
