It is necessary

  • - thin threads;
  • - hook.

Instructions

Step 1

To create curtains, take a thin yarn of light colors, pick up a thin crochet hook. Measure the window opening. Please note that the width of the curtain should exceed the width of the window by at least 50 cm. Calculate the yarn consumption - it should be enough. Keep in mind, one centimeter of knit is made up of four rows: if you take a curtain length of 170 cm, 680 rows will come out. Let the width of the model be 250 cm * 4 loops (1 cm), which means that 1000 loops must be cast in one row. It will take 1000 cm of yarn to knit one row. For curtains, thin threads are needed: take skeins, 100 g of which can fit 500 m. For curtains, you will need about 15 skeins of 100 g of threads, that is, 1.5 kg of yarn.

Step 2

Try to knit the curtain with a simple pattern, alternating between empty and filled cells. Empty cells are double crochets and one loop between them, filled cells are two double crochets.

Step 3

For more expressiveness of the pattern, make a lush column. It is knitted like this: throw the thread on the hook, insert it into the loop of the previous row, pull the working thread. You should have several loops, knit the first two. Put the working thread over the hook again and pull it through the same loop of the previous row. Work the first two stitches. Repeat the procedure one more time, as a result, four loops should form on the hook. Knit them all together. Build your own drawing. Pay attention to the patterns used for cross stitching.

Step 4

Tie the curtain using the following description: 1 row - cast on 4 air loops, then 2 double crochets, then 4 air loops, two double crochets - alternate to the end of the row. At the end of the row, knit a half-stitch and four chain stitches. 2nd row - knit two stitches, then 2 double crochets, two stitches, two double crochets - knit the pattern to the end of the row. The columns should be in the air loops of the previous row, alternate the rows.

Step 5

Tie the edges with single crochets. Make a fringe for the bottom edge and hooks for the top. Cast on three air loops, fasten them to the previous row with half-columns.
