Squash is a ball and racket game. It is held on a court closed on all sides. In squash there are rules, special rackets and balls, different from those in tennis.

Step 1
Two players play classic squash. Parameters of a four-walled court: 6.4 m by 9.75 m. There is an out-line on all four walls, and an acoustic panel on the front wall.
Step 2
The service squares are marked on the floor of the court, and the service line is marked on the front wall. Purpose of the game: to send the ball to the opponent in such a way that he cannot hit it. The main condition is that the ball must touch the front wall above the acoustic panel and below the out line.
Step 3
The ball can be sent to any of the walls, but most often they aim directly at the front wall.
Step 4
Points are awarded when one of the players makes a mistake or does not hit the ball. When someone scores 11 points, he wins the game. The match consists of 3-5 games.
Step 5
The right to first serve is determined by lot, then the winner of the previous game is the first to serve. The server must first decide whether to serve from the left square or the right one. By winning a point, the server changes the serving square.
Step 6
If a service error occurs, the right to serve passes to the second player. The ball comes out when the ball hits the out line on any wall. When serving, you must stand with at least one foot in the serving square.
Step 7
There is no second attempt at serving in squash.
Step 8
If there is an objective interference during the serve, the player can ask Let. Let - a request to the judge about the opportunity to replay.
Step 9
The judge calls No let if the player fails to hit. Other situations: The player made little effort and also hit the ball and missed.
Step 10
The rally is allowed to be replayed if the player was unable to hit the ball due to an objective obstacle.
Step 11
Let is always accepted if the ball broke during the game, if at the time of service the opponent was not ready to receive and did not make the slightest movement to hit.
Step 12
Let is accepted when a player deliberately misses a blow for fear of hitting a competitor's racket.
Step 13
If the ball touches a foreign object on the floor, the player is distracted, let is also accepted.
Step 14
Let cannot be accepted after hitting the ball if the player continues to play. Also if he was not ready to accept the serve.
Step 15
Squash balls differ in bounce speed, the speed is indicated by the corresponding colored dot on the surface of the ball. The presence of a double yellow dot indicates a very slow rebound, only professionals can handle such a ball. Slow bounce - one yellow dot on the ball, perfect for experienced amateurs.
Step 16
The red dot characterizes the average bounce, such a ball is chosen by beginners. The blue dot on the squash ball indicates a quick bounce, this is a ball for children.
