In summer, many are drawn to the sea, white sand and beautiful sea sunsets. Artists paint seascapes, capture the sea using a variety of shades - from dark blue to light green. Try to paint the surface of the sea with watercolors.
It is necessary
- - watercolor paints;
- - brushes;
- - palette;
- - a simple pencil;
- - paper.
Instructions
Step 1
To draw the sea, first take a pencil and a ruler. Draw a horizon line slightly above the middle of the sheet. On it, draw a strip of blue paint. This will show the depth of the sea.
Step 2
Dilute the paint a little with water, draw a second line below. Mix two colors - this is blue and light green. Draw a wavy line where the waves churn the lather. Stir the paint with water. Use small, varied strokes to paint lines on the water.
Step 3
Mix the other two colors - dark green and blue. Draw another stripe on the horizon. You get the turquoise color of the sea. Dilute the paint with water, draw intermittent strokes on the sea surface. Leave open spaces to paint the foam on the crests of the waves. If you paint over the entire sheet, then it will not work. Dilute some black paint on the palette. Apply to the surface of the water, leave the turquoise color intact.
Step 4
Leave the drawing to dry a little. Mix blue and dark green paint. Apply it with a line near the horizon, make the color of the sea brighter and more saturated. Dilute the paint with water, paint over the entire surface of the sea. In the foreground, paint the water light. Sand at the bottom of the sea can be seen near the shore. Further from the shore, make the water darker. In different places, leave unpainted gaps - this is foam on the waves.
Step 5
Dilute the blue color with water to get a very light shade, paint with a thin brush on the lather. Apply strokes in one direction so that there is a wave effect. Add some black to the blue. Draw the tops of the waves above the white stripe with a dashed line. Try to add black paint very carefully, one drop at a time. Complete the drawing at your discretion.
